Neutrogena Deep Clean Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit Cleanser and Scrub -NEW !

I received this package as a surprise upon returning from an overseas trip to Perth,Australia from WonderBox Malaysia and I couldn't believe what it was because it came as a total surprise..

The first thing I loved was the ribbon on the wonderbox was this sexy pink ! I hoped the contents inside was pink as well and to my amazement, I received the Deep Clean Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit set from Neutrogena ! This is very new Malaysia and has recently started being sold at Watsons, Guardian and even Major retail outlets.

The amazing foam cleanser that is just so nice in smell and leaves your face squeaky clean..

The smell of the Pink Grapefruit Ultra Foaming Cleanser is simply divine, it is so light and fruity and bubbly when applied on my face. The cleanser says "Reveal clean and younger-looking skin", at first i was a bit skceptical as to how true a statement it will be.. But the results was fabulous.. I can't post a picture because my skin has an rosacea skin problem and its so ugly, thank goodness for trying this mild cleanser as it does not aggrevate my skin condition further.

Its so mild to use even when you have skin problems like me ! I hope this product by Neutrogena will help me in my quest on obtaining better skin results..

Firstly, have you seen what a grapefruit looks like, some get confused and even I do to but this is what it looks like ! .... Tadaaaa

Next we look at the second product featured in the box to complement the cleanser, It is the Deep Clean Revitilizing Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. I tried it on my skin once and it definitely gave me brighter and clearer looking skin however my skin turned dry soon after, but i am certain its because I did not apply any moisturizer. I found that the range was more suited for oily-prone skin but my skin is more of oil at t zone and dry at cheeks and chin.  After completing the cleansing ritual with the much needed moisturiser my skin felt so smooth and I could see drastic improvement in my skin in three days ! Even the first day itself, i could see amazing results.

My verdict:-

I am so happy to be introduced to this two amazing products from Neutrogena, all thanks to WonderBOx Malaysia for giving me the chance to experience the amazing range by a fabulous brand ! I love the two products in their own way, my favourite would have to be the Ultra-foam cleanser, its just sooo nice ! I can't wait for my skin to further improve and hope to attain fabulous looking skin with the Neutrogena Range ! Thank you WonderBox and Neutrogena Malaysia.

Discovering Dermedex- A wonderful experience

Introducing Dermedex, to those of you who are unfamiliar with the brand. I will like to tell you how it has changed my skin over the period of four days. 

I have never heard of Dermedex before hearing about it through WonderBox Malaysia, which is a beauty box subscription which I subscribe monthly to. So what did I get from Dermedex? I got the challenge pack that included 1 Bio'tox Cleanser (10g) and 1 Refining Cream 2 (5g). This challenge pack is supposed to last for three days but mine lasted 4 days. Let me take you through a day to day experience..

Firstly this is the challenge pack from Dermedex. I was definitely up for the challenge for clearer skin in just 3 days. 

So this was my skin condition before starting on the Dermedex challenge pack. The pimples on my skin was very red and had a lot of acne scars. Dull looking skin and sometimes very oily T-zone and dry and flaky cheeks.

After applying the Bio'tox cleanser for the first time, I was very pleased with its soothing effect it had on skin. It was so mild that it did not make my skin itch. It even reduced the over-oilyness of my skin and gave me a slight glow to my skin which I have not seen in a long time. I was falling in love with Dermedex almost immediately after applying on the Refining Cream 2. It has a plant-ish scent which reminded me of the calming forest and had a cool sensation afterwards which was great for a hot sunny day. The cream vanished into my skin after a few minutes leaving my skin light and not over-heavy with cream, great when your outdoors. 

The second day, I could see a little redness on some pimples but I am also seeing a glow on my skin which is slowly reappearing after many years. This made me even more excited to continue using Dermedex and I am now considering purchasing their full range. I was very happy to finally find a product that is already showing me remarkable results on my skin. My face also reduced in its oily-ness and the dry patches on my skin are less dry , its more smooth and less flaky. I'm starting to also consider going outdoors without wearing any makeup, which is very rare for me because I always use makeup to cover up the imperfections of my skin which always bothered me. 

The third day of the challenge, my skin is glowing, not oily and redness had significantly reduced. It is more vibrant and I am feeling very happy with my skin. I have still a bit leftover from the Bio'tox cleanser and Refining cream 2 from the challenge pack trial which I am going to continue using till it finishes. It's truly remarkable.

My Verdict: I give this challenge pack a 9/10, simply because it did work on my troubled skin in the three days. It was a pleasant experience using Dermedex and I wish to have more of it. I was always searching for beauty products that helped with my acne scars, dull-looking appearance, over secretion of oil and also reducing the dry patches on my skin. All my skin problems solved with the Dermedex Challenge pack. I also have lots of acne scars on my body and also acne on my back. I'm now considering applying the cleanser and refining cream 2 on my back as well, as I saw results almost immediately after the first day of applying the challenge pack on my back. This is definitely the cure and answer to me obtaining fabulous skin. Thank you Dermedex for being such a reliable product for us girls who have tried every other beauty product and nothing had worked till we discovered Dermedex ! 

I have now much more confidence on dates with my beloved boyfriend ! No make-up days are definitely not scary anymore as I am loving my improving skin. I love Dermedex ! 

WonderBox August Edition..- Best of three

This would have to be my favourite box of the two that I reviewed. It definitely left me feeling very happy and I am already using all of the products since I opened it up the very first day I received it. So what's in the box you say??? LOTS !

Take a look at the WonderBox card with the product listed this month.. The girl looks a little weird, its like she's toasting with us on the celebration of our country's national independence day. Hahhaha. I see lots of items that I like !




My favourite would have to be the Challenge pack by Dermedex.. This works miracles on my face for the past three days. But i still have a bit leftover and definitely going to use it another day or two. This really gave my skin lots of improvement in such a short amount of time. I didnt believe it would change my problem-prone skin but it did ! Definitely recommend their full range... Might invest in it..

Another sample from Nu Teen, but given the size and brands of the other products I would consider this bonus as this was not included in the product description ! This is how you do it WonderBox ! Extras are always a plus to beauty subscribers, especially since its a common sample like blackhead removal. I believe most people suffer from this. So thank you for the extra thought !!

Loving this BB cream. Its supposed to match all skin tones but it makes my face looking two shades brighter than my neck which is not really good because I have to apply BB cream on my neck too so it blends on my skin and does not leave me looking two-tone ! But it is very light and not heavy on my skin which is suitable for a daily use. Never really heard of Skinz before but its good to discover them !

This is also another huge favourite because its a full size shower scrub. The scent is amazing, like having your very own spa time at home. The scrub is also quite mild and does not trigger redness on my sensitive skin. Definitely going to use this after a stressful day at college. Or even when you have a few friends over, I am going to leave this in the shower for them to discover !

Loving this glossy shade, another blue shade from WonderBox, I've recieved 4 nail polishes so far throughout my whole beauty box collection and i have to say 2 BLUE shades from WonderBox and 2 BLUE shades from Bag of Love. I always wonder why I am always getting a blue shade. Does my name appear in Blue all the time? Hahha. Wished I had a more pink or red colour but this is nice. Its so easy to apply on my nails and its makes it easy to have a manicure in my very own house now..

I loved all the items in the box, it is really nice to see a different range of items from face care, nail care to body care. Thank you WonderBox for this month's wonderful box ! Keep it up and keep us always on the edge of our toes with the continous surprises. !

WonderBox June Edition.. June June June

So I will be reviewing this box at a very late time as I had been very busy with college. But this time I will be reviewing two boxes in blogs. You can compare and see the individual products, this will also help you in deciding if WonderBox is for you.

As you know, WonderBox doesn't give out hints on the contents of the box as it wants to leave subscribers feeling tottally surprised and excited when opening the box up. However, I feel that the contents of the box has been a little not constant in the WOW-ness as I expected it to be. Some boxes left me feeling very unhappy and other really excited and thankful. So here goes my review for the month of June...

So the first glance when I opened my black ribbon box was the sight of this beach-themed girl with a big sunny hat blowing a kiss to all the subscribers. I said wow so pretty. Then turned the picture around to find the usual product list and description. I was glad to see a few new brands like Aupres and Beautymate.
As usual, the box comes with a few vouchers for us to use.

The first item that struck me was of course the biggest in size which was the Beautymate Toner. I didnt really understand the packaging very well as it did not have many english words on the word so I was like err.. what is this. Upon opening I knew it was a toner and smelled really nice and left my skin feeling fresh ! Love it ! Just wished there was an english version, would have been a little more apealing. 

The next thing I found in the box was another Murad exfoliating mask, this is my second time receiving from wonderbox this mask and I love it but wished this product was replaced with something even more new. But then again, WonderBox lately has been including a re-occuring sample in the new months, I really dont know why but maybe they are trying to distribute all the left-over samples that they didnt manage to sell. But with the addition of other beauty boxes in the market, I would say Wonderbox certainly shouldn't keep doing this to their subscribers, since they have already increased the box value to RM45. They should keep subscribers with more chances to discover new beauty products instead of giving them the same sample they previously received in the previous months boxes.

Another re-occuring sample which was included in this month's box. I received this sample from Neutrogena last month in May's wonderbox. Please stop this re-occuring samples, there should have been other brands for subscribers to discover on.

OMG ! Another Marvel Gel? Are they serious, 3/5 samples given are from last few months boxes. Can they possibly not have any other brands and samples for us beauty freaks? They are simply boring us with samples which we have already received. But then again if they're focus is on new subscribers then others would be happy to receive the content of the box. I would say this is a huge turn-off for me. 

Lastly, we look at a new brand featured in this month's box by Aupres. Okay another thing is this is too small to be even considered a sample. Could only last two applications and I can't even see the difference, wish there was more to sample on then at least can decide on purchasing the full size, after trying this tiny sample I would say I didnt see any difference.

 My overall verdict: I would say I'm very upset in receiving this. All the samples was too small and mostly lasted one-three applications. The other blue ribbon box featured the Neutrogena night boost instead of the Aupres. And that sample is full sized when compared with this itsy bitsy sample. I mean this is unfair, some had full sized toner as well as full sized neautrogena night boost while others had one full sized toner and several small sized samples. What happened to wonderBox's promise to its loyal subscribers of all samples sizes not being less than 15ml?? Did they just say that to please us at that very moment? I mean onely 1 item in this box was over the 15ml minimum quantity. That is so unfair and wrong of wonderBox, they should definitely remove their promise made to subscribers on the minimum 15ml. What do you think? Do you agree with me? And please stop sending the same samples..

Bag of Love, Sweet August !

Hello beauty babes,

I received this month's bag out of pure surprise as I expected it to be a week late, as mentioned on FB. However, thanks to love Miss A, who went the extra mile to ensure that each of us received our bags early. Thank you Miss A!!

This month's bag featured a book, this I would have to say is the first in any beauty bag, bringing a stronger meaning to Beauty and Brains. Bag of love included the Confessions of a Shopaholic by best-selling author Sophie Kinsella for all our reading pleasure. Watching the movie was fantastic as it is and to read the book will just have to be the cherry on top of the cake.

Next we look at the Bag itself. It is exactly like the first August special edition bag when Bag of Love featured OnlyBeauty.com. But this time, our Mimi, only held one balloon in her arm in the cartoony design, which was the bag of love logo.

What's in the bag?
Well, I received my mystery gift outside the bag, or at least i think it was the mystery gift for subscribing quarterly. But then again last quarterly subscription, I did not receive a mystery gift, so I am quite confused. But anyways I am still very happy to receive such lovely mystery gifts.

My favourite in the bag would have to be the Signorina EDT by Salvatore Ferragamo. At first i thought the blue Acqua Essenziale EDT by Salvatore Ferragamo was for women but LADIES, its for your boyfriend, husband, father or brother to use. The blue one is for men while the Signoria(Pink) is for us ladies. You could try sniffing the scent. Its floral and fruity, a combination that screams my name! I am dying to have this in full size. Please MiMi, send this to me !!!! Ps. My boyfriend loves the Acqua Essenziale Perfume, it is so musky and masculine, definitely suiting to his personality!

Next we look at other items in the bag which is also do die for!
 Johnson's Body Care Gel lotion (100ml) Yes, this is new!

Saxby Nail Laquer ( Shade 34), yes I am receiving another blue colour from Bag of Love. This time a darker blue. Please send me a red colour next! =)

The next beauty products found in the bag is Lierac Luminescence Serum, didn't try this product out yet as It is very new to me! Will post on the results.

Another one of my favourite's Neem Face Pack from Himalaya. This is amazing on acne prone skin like mine and so soothing is does not trigger any sensitivity on the skin.

Lastly, The Liss Ultime Hair Masque. Used this before and so happy to be able to try it again. It works wonders on taming frizzy and unmanageable hair! try it ladies!

Other items include a voucher from Juice Works when you purchase a drink, you get another free. !

The bag all subscribers are waiting for! A special edition bag from Bag of Love and also a collaboration with www.onlybeauty.com.my   It was priced at Rm60 and sold out very quickly. If Bag of Love continues with more special edition Baggs it will guarantee a faster time being sold out.

What's so special about this Bag?
Well it is filled with full sized items! Yes 5 full sized items. I was needing lots of new makeup and was so glad when I found out the Special Edition Bag was featuring full sized makeup items, which means I didnt have to spend so much money and I get to save my transport and hassle to get the individual products.

2) L'Oreal Paris White Perfect Pearl Brush-On Whitening Foundation Essence, RM79.90

This Foundation Essence comes equipped with a built-in brush. Yes, everyone on Bag of Love is obsessed with MakeUp brushes and this is fantastic! The foundation comes out in the brush as soon as you pump the button on the bottom of the bottle. It glides on well on the face and smoothes foundation without making foundation look streaky.

3) Maybelline AngelFit Brighten Up Blush, RM29.90

The Blush is in a Fantastic shade, it is not too pink and not to brown. It leaves your skin looking glowy and natural. It definitely brightens up your face and leaves your cheeks looking oh-so-adorable.

4) Maybelline Color Sensation Lipstick, RM29.90

The lipstick shade that I received would have to be somewhere in between a purple and a pink. It is Gorgeous! It looks so sweet and almost natural looking. It is great for a shopping day, for an evening out and even on a romantic date! Yes, its that versatile.

5) Timeless Truth Collagen Bio Cellulose Mask, RM25 per piece

This mask I would say is to be used before putting on your makeup as it is filled with collagen goodies. Collagen is very important in order for your skin to remain firm and not saggy looking. Receiving only one sachet means the mask can only be used once, so use it a day before your big day! Just for some extra loving on your face.

My Favourite Item: L'Oreal Paris Open Eyes Pro
I was looking on Youtube for makeup tutorials and was always envious on how people could get their eyeshadow looking so perfect. Until I found this in my Special Edition Bag, I started seeing more vidoes and how I can apply my eyeshadow in the shades that I received. It is so easy to carry around in your handbag, although I would recommend leaving it at home because your don't want to drop your eyeshadow as It may break. This Eyes pro is definitely all you need in achieving a certain look. I wish to have more in different colour shades. It is amazing! You definitely need to get your hands on the next special edition bag which will be announced soon hopefully!!!!

Bag Of Love July-Pretty Pink Girl bag

So this July bag is the last in my quarterly subscription and then i will be buying another quarterly subscription for August-October. However, I am quite sad that in the three months i did not receive the mystery gift. Maybe Bag of Love got confused, so those who received please do share with me what you received as a mystery gift?

I received the July Pretty Pink bag this morning but only returned from college about two hours ago and now I am blogging about it because it is just so adorable! I have to say that it is really value for money with what I received this month. Let's talk about the bag firstly, its pink, with lace on the middle part of the bag which just adds a little taste of sweetness. I would say, the pink colour just screams bag of Love!

Why? Its because this is the first time Bag of Love is featuring a nail polish and the colour was very me! I somehow is always given blue for my first nail polish from a beauty subscription. Got Blue from another beauty box too for the first time , so i guess I will somehow get Blue as a start colour. I am in love with Nail Polishes and it never bores me because there are so many colours and so many ways for you to wear nail polishes. So this is my favourite product! Anyone want to donate to me their nail polish if you didn't like the colour (comment below)?

My Verdict:-
Bag of Love is guranteed a value for money as the Founder Mimi knows exactly what subscribers expect and never lets us down. I have been subscribing since the start of the debut Bag and so far I have 6 beautiful bags by Bag of Love. Yes five months and the special edition bag.
