Deodorant Spray by Dove

Recently, I purchased two bottles of the Dove Deodorant spray which I found gives me lasting results. I smelled fresh the entire day. It comes in two scents, Cucumber & Green Tea and Grapefruit & Lemongrass.

Spraying it on your skin while you dress up to start your day, leaves you a energising scent. The scent then lasts on the entire day. Even if you sweat a lot, the deodorant spray still leaves you smelling good and doesn't make you stink up the room.

I would have to say this product worked really well on my skin because whenever I use the liquid deodorants, I discovered that whenever I perspired the scent faded and I started to stink. I then discovered that deodorant sprays lasts longer than liquid deodorants because deodorants are best applied when its dry.

If you are worried about getting swollen sweat glands which feels like a lump under your armpits, this spray doesn't cause it at all. Instead I would have to say I still perspire normally and even when it is a super hot sunny day, I still smell nice. This spray is fantastic! Shower Gel by BodyShop

Amazing Products by BodyShop which I recently purchased. One of the amazing products that I had recently discovered from BodyShop Malaysia is their Passion Fruit Shower Gel and their Neroli Jasmin Shower Gel.

Both the shower gel smells heavenly and have a nice runny texture that is needed for a good bath. Smooth bubbles when applied on skin and my nose greeted me with different scents. The Neroli Jasmin had a stronger perfume-ish scent which is great just before a night out or an evening bath. But the Passion Fruit shower gel suited a morning bath because the scent was not over-powering.


Either way, the both products mentioned are amzing and heavenly. They result in smooth skin, leaving you smelling superly-sweet too. Neroli Jasmin retails for RM 29.90 and the Passion Fruit Shower Gel for RM22.

Wild Ferns-Rejuvenating Hand Creme (Kiwifruit)

This rejuvenating hand crème by Wild Ferns is an intensive moisturizing crème containing a blend of Kiwifruit oil, shea butter, Vitamin E and sweet Almond Oil to soothe and repair rough and dry damaged hands.


Directions to use: Smooth over hands as often as required.

This sample size of 30ml makes it a friendly companion when travelling and fits nicely in any handbag. So ladies, keep this in your handbag at all times and when your hands feel dry, apply this hand crème to soothe your hands. Hand creams are much needed when a person is under air condition for too long as a person's skin becomes dry.

WonderBox May Edition-Beauty Discoveries

So I received my May WonderBox a few weeks back and finally had time to do a proper review that the Box deserves. I first received the box one sunny afternoon. This is my first time receiving the box late, usually it takes Gdex to deliver the next day after it has been sent out, but this time, it took them the entire weekend then they delivered it. But I was still very pleased with their delivery services.

Upon opening, this is the first product that capture my eyes. The Bio-essence Radiant Youth Essence. At first I was thinking if it is safe for me to use this product at still a young age and discovered that we needed to  start taking care of skin at an early age to avoid wrinkles and fine lines in future. Plus, this essence works great on my acne scars too. And it restores my natural shine to my face.

 The next product I received was the Neutrogena Hydro Boost(sleeping pack). I extremely love this soothing cream. It feels so refreshing to me and helps me sleep peacefully. Plus it is also another deluxe sized sample which is featured in the box. It doesn't show a retail price but hope it is affordable.

The next two items I received was by Neutrogena as well, the Hydro Boost Mask pack. This is one of the most soothing masks I've tried. It fits so well on my skin special cut. Plus it added so much moisture to my face, It was dripping to my neck. So my neck was pampered too. It was a very pleasant feeling and left a great result on my skin.

The next item that I received is by Ginvera, a whitening Marvel Gel that removes Blackheads. This is amazing! I am so thankful WonderBox introduced this product to me because it really removed any blackheads i had on my nose. It is to be applied dry without any water and after light scrubbing of your face, you are to rinse your face with your own face wash but preferably with a Ginvera whitening range for better results.

 I really love that they also send me a scent vile sample plus a hand and body lotion. I have tried le scentuer before but I am happy to see that the beauty profile really works on WonderBox and they send me samples that suited me very well. The lotion has this sweet smell that is not to over-powering which is calm to be used before bedtime and can last pretty long too. However, the perfume was not really to my liking as I already have a super favourite perfume by Gucci-Guilty.

 I also received a leaflet by Ginvera with details on their Green Tea range. They also further included two samples from the Green Tea range, the Whitening Marvel Gel which I also received earlier and the Ultimate sun shield which I have yet to try.

Overall, I would have to say I am in love with all the contents as I always trust in WonderBox and that I know they will always give me products which i would eventually grow to love even more. Have Puffy eyes every morning and want to find a way to reduce it?

Did you know that Crying, allergies, and lack of sleep are common causes of puffy eyes? 

What Causes Puffy Eyes?

Eye puffiness is a type of fluid build-up(oedema, also known as dropsy) in the tissues around your eyes, called the orbits.A possible explanation for this may be that because you are laying down for several hours in a horizontal position when you are sleeping and then stand up when your awake, this cause the fluid that was resting under your eyes to suddenly be pulled down by gravity. Causing puffy-ness and swelling.

Is it Normal to have puffy eyes in the mornings?

Yes It is mostly common to have puffy eyes upon waking. Even some celebrities in America have puffy eyes in the mornings. Most of the time, people in public are unable to see celebrities when they are out grabbing a cup of coffee, but when paparazzi did, pictures showed that even Hollywood Celebrities has experienced puffy eyes, possibly due to lack of sleep.

Tired of those puffy looking goldfish eyes when you wake up?

Especially when you have dark circles around bottom of your eyes. I would like to share with you a beauty secret that I have been practising for years which is proven to be one of the easiest ways to reduce eye-bags and puffy looking eyes.

What you need:-

A metal spoon. Preferably two spoons. 

A cup filled with cold water.

Ice Cubes (Optional).

The process :-

1)Firstly, take two metal spoons and place it in a cup of ice cold water. Preferably add some ice cubes to your cup. 

2)Then leave the spoons in the cup for a few minutes.

3)Then take off one spoon and place the cold spoon under your eyes. Make sure its the back of the spoon as it has a easier surface to work with. 

4)When the spoon loses its coldness, dip it back into the cup of cold water and use the other spoon that has been chilled on your other eye. Continue this process for 5 minutes by alternating between spoons. Remember to keep a cold spoon under your eyes at all times because warm spoons won't give you the desired effect.

5)You would then see some reduced swelling, your eyes are not that puffy any longer and you can progress on to your daily activities.

Well, I hope this little piece of information helped you to overcome any issues on puffy and tired looking eyes. If this does not work for you, you could always purchase a cream. The cream that I am using is by Clinelle-Eye Bright. Which will help reduce eye bags, dark circles and fine lines.

There are many ways to treat puffy eyes and tired looking eyes. Find one that suits you and works for you. But always remember that it is very normal to have puffy looking eyes, just be sure to get proper rest, drink lots of water and stay happy!

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules-Bag of Love

Hi beauty lovers,

This product which I am about to share with you is by Elizabeth Arden. It was featured in the May Edition of Bag of Love Malaysia. I was given a sample sized-7 ceramide capsules.


I used it over a period of 1 week and saw instant results at the end of one week.
I used to have very bad skin, even from schooling days. I used to have a lot of dark spots and acne scars. This miracle oil as I call it, works amazing on my skin. It reduced my dark spots, and also acne scars after one week of application. I wished i had more capsules to try but they cost really expensive and I can't afford full size. I hope my face doesn't have more acne popping as i would have to deal with the scars when its gone.

I had a clear face and had a glow. After this, when college resumed and my face got worse with stress and not a good skincare regime that I was neglecting.

This is what happened then, my face had lots of pimples, and when the pimples cleared, acne scars and dark spots appeared. This made my face bad and lose its clear appearance.

My Face also became very oily and itchy at most times. I avoided applying make up but still had dark spots. This is a current picture of me now. I look tired but my skin has improved, it is less oily, and the scars have reduced its appearance. It is lighter and feels smoother.

                                

Apart from my sleepyness, my face feels better and healthier and i defenitely noticed a great improvement..

My Verdict:

I noticed a great improvement after trying out the seven capsules. I wished I had more to try out because it is simply magical. It works well on my troubled skin and I hope that I can someday afford the full sized capsules as it is very expensive for a student like me. If some of you, who are not using your ceramide capsules, you can always send them to me, I will be happy to accept it. I hope my face would get even more better and the marks reduced soon. Elianto Fionatto Blush-Pecan 05 Review

Finding a blush that is a perfect shade for you can be really tough for girls living in hot climates such as Malaysia. Since there are so many skin types and skin shades, finding a shade of blush that suits you can be found after trying our samples of different shades of blush.

I am a person that feels a blusher is one of the most important make-up component to lifting and shading your face. You could also apply a blusher to contour your face such as raising the level of your cheekbone, sharpening the tip of your nose and also result in giving you a sharper jaw line with proper application and technique of the blusher.

The main area to apply a blusher is on your cheekbones, drawing a stroke from your cheek and pulling the stroke upwards towards the end corners of your eyes. Applying a blusher while smiling is the easiest way to apply a blusher at the apple of your cheeks.

The shade gives you a slight tan and colour to your skin. Also the glow that is created on your skin is beautiful. This blusher gives you sun-kissed skin when paired well with your skin. If this colour does not suit you, you could always try maybe a lighter shade or a darker shade to suit your unique skin.

My verdict:

This blusher is a good shade for me. I wouldn't say its the perfect shade for me to use daily as I prefer a little pink under-tone instead of a brown. But this blusher gave me a natural glow on my skin and is great for contouring my jaw line and shading the tip of my nose. It is also very easy to carry around, as the blusher casing can withstand a little pressure. Some blushers are not safe to be carried in a bag, they chip and break easily when carried, but this so far has been placed in my handbag and can withstand a little hard handling. =)  It also has an ideal price tag which makes it affordable for a new beauty junkie like me. Besides, a girl can never have too many blushers. A pink tone, brown tone or even a red tone if you find a perfect outfit to pair the blusher with.
