Neutrogena Products and Amazing experience

So I was invited to a meeting with neutrogena to discover their products and give my opinions on the products  that I have used. I walked away with RM300+ worth of Neutrogena Products and also a gorgeous make-up/product trolley hard case bag. Super duper nice!

So let's have a look at the products that I got.

9 Amazing Beauty products.

So The first is : 

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser (RM15.90)- 100g

Deep Clean foaming Cleanser.

I discovered Neutrogena the very first time through this product. Back when I was in school, had lots of pimples due to oily skin. My skin doctor recommended I try Neutrogena and it truly leaves my skin feeling clean. I mean squeaky clean, but doesn't leave my skin feeling dry at the same time. Some cleansers tend to leave the skin feeling dry after a wash but not this ! It's perfect for oily skin and those finding it hard to find a good facial cleanser. I would surely recommend this.

2nd Product :

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner (RM15.90)- 150ml

So here is it an alcohol-free toner that refreshes the skin after cleansing and prepares your skin to further absorb the moisturiser that should be applied after this toner. This toner had a mild scent to it and it's quite hard to find a toner that does not contain alcohol. Most toners still contain alcohol, so to my muslim readers, this is a perfect toner for your skin. And to all girls, be nice to your skin and treat it with tender love and care by making sure your toner does not contain alcohol. This toner is perfect for all.

3rd Product:

Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum (RM 79.90)- 30ml

So i just recently started using this product 4 days ago since my serum finished and I wanted to give Neutrogena's Brightening Serum a chance to see if it leaves my skin looking brighter. In 4 days, i can see a little difference already. At first, i felt a little tingling feeling when i first used it but then it didn't irritate my skin at all. I guess it was the serum working on my skin already. My skin feels smoother, looks brighter a bit, like a healthy glow to my skin is starting to form in just 4 days. I can't wait to see even greater results in the three weeks as stated on the box. I will be uploading another review on this product alone in 3 weeks to see my results ! =) So stay tuned. But i highly recommend this, to all you girls in search of a brightening serum that really works. 

4th Product:

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel (RM59.90)- 50g

This water gel is amazing ! I love it, it really leaves my skin feeling well moisturised and not oily at all. I use the water gel as an alternative to a daily moisturiser cause i find some moisturisers leave my skin feeling very oily but this does not at all.. It's perfect and definitely true to its word of hydro boost. You can truly feel the difference, my skin feels healthy again. Can't wait to see how my skin looks like after 4 weeks. 

5th Product:

Deep Clean Cleansing Lotion (RM 29.90)- 200ml

This cleansing lotion is perfect for removing make up ! It is soap-free, oil-free, alcohol-free and fragrance-free. Which is perfect for removing makeup, even waterproof mascara. This is also perfect when removing make-up after you've had eyelash extentions. Okay so eyelash extensions are becoming a trend now here in Malaysia and it is adviced that those with eyelash extensions use an oil-free make-up remover because oil strips of the extensions. So this is perfect! Plus, you don't need to excessively rub your face to remove make-up and does not leave your skin feeling greasy at all. I highly recommend this to all girls, like me, who love wearing make-up. 

6th Product:

Neutrogena Deep Hydrating Mask (5sheets)-( RM 49.90)

It is very important to use a mask every three days or at least once a week. This mask leaves my face feeling hydrated and feeling firm. Plus, i love relaxing and using a mask and ponder on all the good things i have in my life and be thankful for everything. The mask is shaped to fit the face and each mask instantly boosts the skin's moisture level, leaving skin soft and dewy with a healthy glow.   

7th Product:

Neutrogena Hand Cream (RM 11.90)-56g

This Fragrance-free hand cream is perfect for your hands. Plus its size is travel-friendly and fits nicely in a medium-sized handbag. Our hands are often dry due to excessive washing. Plus those who wash,cook,clean and work need a hand cream to replenish the skin's moisture. Especially our hands, which are used in every activity. I love this hand cream, all girls and boys too should give it a try.

8th Product:

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock SPF50+ ( RM 39.90)-88ml

A sunblock is very important for all us living in a country with summer all year long like Malaysia. This is a shield to our skin from harmful UV rays waiting to damage our skin. Neutrogena's sun block is one of the best from my own personal experience. The sun block does not leave your skin feeling greasy and it feels like it is absorbed into your skin. An important reminder, don't forget to remove your sunblock when you are home, as it leaves your skin with clogged pores if not removed. I learnt this tip from a friend. But this sunblock is perfect, you can even use make-up on it after because its so smoothe and ultra-sheer.

MY FAVOURITE !!!!!!!!

Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Mulberry Foaming Scrub (RM 21.90)-100g

I love love love this scrub, its so gentle yet effectively removes any impurities. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and controls my skin's natural oil. It smells so sweet and nice yet not overpowering. The scrub is a gel base sp it is very gentle to your skin. I truly recommend this to all my friends in search of a really good scrub that is not harsh to the skin.

So what's in a Nail Pack? Well firstly they included this really cute voucher of " Buy 1 Get 1 Free for Nail Strips". I know I'm definitely going to use this vouchers.

Next we are going to look at how to apply the Nail strips unto your nails ! Its very very easy, firstly if we are going to use Lace Nail Strips, I suggest using a darker nail polish to enhance the lace effect further on your nails. So on clean nails, apply a dark shade nail polish of your choice...

Clean Nails are now ready for Nail Polish !

I am using an almost black colour here, with a slight hint of grey in it. I find it is perfect for a vintage looking effect.

 

So, this is the Nail strip. It has 6 pairs of identical nail shapes, so usually the biggest are for your thumbs, then it goes to your pointer, middle finger, ring finger and also your little finger. So since all nail strips pack include an extra pair for your thumbs, I am using them for this tutorial.

 

Apply the desired and best fitted strip unto your nails after the polish has dried.

 

Okay yes, you must be wondering why is it sticking out, well its because each nail strip is longer than your actual nails to give you best fitted nails. So with a smooth buffer, buff the nail sticker onto your nails and remove any air bubbles to ensure it sticks firmly unto nails.

 

Then, using the rough side of the buffer, buff the ends of your nails to where the nail strip is at the edge and smooth it down. The sticker will break off exactly where you buff your nails at, leaving you with the result of a well covered nail. Isn't it lovely? See how it shines from the dark colour nail polish underneath?

 

 

What I think of it?

 

I Love the Nail Pack by Bloop, I fell in love with it when it was first featured in WonderBox and now I am even more in love with it. I would have to say I am a big fan of the lace effect ! It lasts so well, up to 4 days. Without even a top coat! It's that good !

 

 

We'll look at the "Sandy" Nail Polish now, which is perfect for any day/night event !



Make sure your nails are clean. You can apply a base coat for better nail protection and for longer lasting nail polish.

After applying the sandy Nail polish. I love it ! Its so shimmery and bright ! And it definitely feels sandy on your nails, like the sand on the beach got stuck on it. But somehow it is not rough sandy but rather smooth sandy !

 

My collection ! -

Yes I only have one Bloop nail polish and now I have a new 'sandy' nail polish to add next to it. I also have Bloop's Top coat which is super nice and very long lasting !

 

 

Okay moving on to the other Nail Pack, I hope you could see the application is the same except that you don't need a bottom layer of nail polish before applying this Nail Strip. Just apply them straight once your nails have been clean. Its that easy.

 

So what I do is I align the nail strip down and I start to measure the fit of my nails and hope they fit perfectly which they usually do. But see this nail strip is a little different, it has a gold line which has to be closer to the root of the nail rather than the tip because if it is at the tip it will come right off after buffering to shape the nail. So look out for details on the Nail strips yeah? !

 

 

Perfect fit, measure it this way. Place the next nail next to it to see if the shape matches.

Use the rough side of a nail buffer and buff the end of the nails gently to remove any excess nail strip stuck on your nails.

A tip! Buff your nails downwards, the nail strips comes off even more easily in this motion.

Remove the excess from the buffer, if it still sticks to your nails, gently tear it off. Remember Gently !

Final Step ! Top Coat ! Bloop's nail coat is amazing, it adds shine and seals up any air pocket from the nail strip. The top coats further extends the wearability time of the nail strips. With the top coat, nails can last for about 8-9 days.

The finished product ! Two beautiful looking nails, one with a lace effect, the other a cute turquoise shiny and polka-dot style ! Have a great time applying this Nail strips !

Neutrogena Deep Clean Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit Cleanser and Scrub -NEW !

I received this package as a surprise upon returning from an overseas trip to Perth,Australia from WonderBox Malaysia and I couldn't believe what it was because it came as a total surprise..

The first thing I loved was the ribbon on the wonderbox was this sexy pink ! I hoped the contents inside was pink as well and to my amazement, I received the Deep Clean Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit set from Neutrogena ! This is very new Malaysia and has recently started being sold at Watsons, Guardian and even Major retail outlets.

The amazing foam cleanser that is just so nice in smell and leaves your face squeaky clean..

The smell of the Pink Grapefruit Ultra Foaming Cleanser is simply divine, it is so light and fruity and bubbly when applied on my face. The cleanser says "Reveal clean and younger-looking skin", at first i was a bit skceptical as to how true a statement it will be.. But the results was fabulous.. I can't post a picture because my skin has an rosacea skin problem and its so ugly, thank goodness for trying this mild cleanser as it does not aggrevate my skin condition further.

Its so mild to use even when you have skin problems like me ! I hope this product by Neutrogena will help me in my quest on obtaining better skin results..

Firstly, have you seen what a grapefruit looks like, some get confused and even I do to but this is what it looks like ! .... Tadaaaa

Next we look at the second product featured in the box to complement the cleanser, It is the Deep Clean Revitilizing Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. I tried it on my skin once and it definitely gave me brighter and clearer looking skin however my skin turned dry soon after, but i am certain its because I did not apply any moisturizer. I found that the range was more suited for oily-prone skin but my skin is more of oil at t zone and dry at cheeks and chin.  After completing the cleansing ritual with the much needed moisturiser my skin felt so smooth and I could see drastic improvement in my skin in three days ! Even the first day itself, i could see amazing results.

My verdict:-

I am so happy to be introduced to this two amazing products from Neutrogena, all thanks to WonderBOx Malaysia for giving me the chance to experience the amazing range by a fabulous brand ! I love the two products in their own way, my favourite would have to be the Ultra-foam cleanser, its just sooo nice ! I can't wait for my skin to further improve and hope to attain fabulous looking skin with the Neutrogena Range ! Thank you WonderBox and Neutrogena Malaysia.

Discovering Dermedex- A wonderful experience

Introducing Dermedex, to those of you who are unfamiliar with the brand. I will like to tell you how it has changed my skin over the period of four days. 

I have never heard of Dermedex before hearing about it through WonderBox Malaysia, which is a beauty box subscription which I subscribe monthly to. So what did I get from Dermedex? I got the challenge pack that included 1 Bio'tox Cleanser (10g) and 1 Refining Cream 2 (5g). This challenge pack is supposed to last for three days but mine lasted 4 days. Let me take you through a day to day experience..

Firstly this is the challenge pack from Dermedex. I was definitely up for the challenge for clearer skin in just 3 days. 

So this was my skin condition before starting on the Dermedex challenge pack. The pimples on my skin was very red and had a lot of acne scars. Dull looking skin and sometimes very oily T-zone and dry and flaky cheeks.

After applying the Bio'tox cleanser for the first time, I was very pleased with its soothing effect it had on skin. It was so mild that it did not make my skin itch. It even reduced the over-oilyness of my skin and gave me a slight glow to my skin which I have not seen in a long time. I was falling in love with Dermedex almost immediately after applying on the Refining Cream 2. It has a plant-ish scent which reminded me of the calming forest and had a cool sensation afterwards which was great for a hot sunny day. The cream vanished into my skin after a few minutes leaving my skin light and not over-heavy with cream, great when your outdoors. 

The second day, I could see a little redness on some pimples but I am also seeing a glow on my skin which is slowly reappearing after many years. This made me even more excited to continue using Dermedex and I am now considering purchasing their full range. I was very happy to finally find a product that is already showing me remarkable results on my skin. My face also reduced in its oily-ness and the dry patches on my skin are less dry , its more smooth and less flaky. I'm starting to also consider going outdoors without wearing any makeup, which is very rare for me because I always use makeup to cover up the imperfections of my skin which always bothered me. 

The third day of the challenge, my skin is glowing, not oily and redness had significantly reduced. It is more vibrant and I am feeling very happy with my skin. I have still a bit leftover from the Bio'tox cleanser and Refining cream 2 from the challenge pack trial which I am going to continue using till it finishes. It's truly remarkable.

My Verdict: I give this challenge pack a 9/10, simply because it did work on my troubled skin in the three days. It was a pleasant experience using Dermedex and I wish to have more of it. I was always searching for beauty products that helped with my acne scars, dull-looking appearance, over secretion of oil and also reducing the dry patches on my skin. All my skin problems solved with the Dermedex Challenge pack. I also have lots of acne scars on my body and also acne on my back. I'm now considering applying the cleanser and refining cream 2 on my back as well, as I saw results almost immediately after the first day of applying the challenge pack on my back. This is definitely the cure and answer to me obtaining fabulous skin. Thank you Dermedex for being such a reliable product for us girls who have tried every other beauty product and nothing had worked till we discovered Dermedex ! 

I have now much more confidence on dates with my beloved boyfriend ! No make-up days are definitely not scary anymore as I am loving my improving skin. I love Dermedex !
